At iPlay we pride ourselves on providing the best experience to our players and this year was no exception. Bobby Charlton Soccer Schools need no introduction, being the first football school in the world, famous for giving the young David Beckham his introduction to Manchester United after winning their Skills Final when he was a child.

With over 100 iPlay participants taking part, our 2011 camp was a great success from beginning to end, with 4 of our players winning places in the International Skills Finals in Manchester, UK where they will receive coaching from Manchester United First Team Coach Rene Meulensteen before competing in the Finals against the winners of all BCSSA Camps worldwide for the prestigious title of Skills Champions in front of many scouts and other representatives from European teams.

The dynamic combination of drills and testing was rigorous for the participants and improvements were apparent in everyone who took part. The results showed that everyone worked very hard but there were only three places in the finals to compete for the coveted place in the International Skills Final in the UK.

With a very high standard throughout, the finals were as nerve-wracking to watch as they were for the finalists to compete in. Congratulations to all our winners and especially to Chean who won the title both weeks running for the afternoon session !
